It’s never too late to change your life

We all start our lives as innocent baby’s but still born into sin. What ours lives become depends on how we are raised and the decisions we make in our lifetime. Now so many people believe that they are a product of their environment, yet there comes a time when we need to take responsibility for our actions, but is never too late to change your life.

What Would You Change?

Thinking back in our lives there are so many things that we would do differently. We first learn what we are taught by our parents, then we start learning from the things we see on T.V. As we start school we learn from our teachers and other kids.

As time goes by we start making our own decisions, basted on what we have learned. A lot of times we make the wrong decisions and things don’t work out the way we wanted to. So then we are left to deal with our mistakes.

What things have you done that you wish you could change? One thing I would change is having children to early. As a teenager I made the decision to have sex, and not to use protection, so I had to become an adult before I was ready. This caused my life to be harder than it needed to be, not to mention I continued to make that mistake several times.

We all make mistakes and think back of what we could have done better. Some may have said something they have regrets about, or even didn’t do something you should have.

My point is that the choices we make effect or lives, even shape our futures, but how we deal with the outcomes of our decisions is what makes us who we are. It’s never too late to change your life, If you’re not happy with how your life is going just change what you are doing.

With all the bad decisions we make, it’s OK to change them and it’s OK to forgive yourself. Even God gives us the chance to do the right thing and ask for forgiveness and to start over and make different choices.

2 Corinthians 2:10-11

Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sake in the presence of Christ, lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

For Better Or For Worse

We can change anything in our lives, but we must think, will it be for better or for worse? Some things that we might try to change may not be for the better. Some things may just need to left alone. Sometimes we worry about things that can’t be changed, but you may be better off just learning from it, instead of taking the chance of making it worse.

There are times when maybe we said something to someone that we didn’t mean to say, or we said it in a way that was misunderstood. In most cases we would apologize to the person and explain that we didn’t mean what we said or the way we said it. Sometimes we may just want to leave well enough alone, if we don’t think things would be better after. In any case we should try to be like Jesus, before speaking to others and speak to them with kindness in our hearts.

No matter what happens in your life Jesus died for you, so that you can start a new life. There’s always a new beginning when we ask Him for forgiveness. All the things that you want to change can be done through His grace. Born again as a new person is what you need to become what God has intended for you to be.

New Life

Now its very easy to start over. All you need to do is accept Jesus as your Lord and savior. Believe He died for your sins and raised from the dead. Ask Him for forgiveness and trust in Him. Learn to follow Him and make Him the most important thing in your life.

When things get hard call on Him, when things are good thank Him. Thank Him every day for all you have. Thank Him for the air you breathe, for waking you up, for having another day to please Him and live a better life.

Run away from the old you and embrace the new you. Read your bible and learn what God has for you. Pray and communicate with God every day. Get to know Him. Know that He loves you and forgives you.

Your new journey in life will not be easy but if you stay focused on God you will overcome anything that the devil throws at you, and he will try to discourage you and try to distract you from God. He is very tricky, but know that God is all powerful and is there for you. Say to yourself “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”

Our father will never give you anything you can’t handle. He has your back and you can overcome anything in His name.

Conclusion

  1. I like your article and the messages it gives but sometimes when writing things like this you have to be careful because some people when deciding are still uncertain but are still willing to discovering christ or come or wanting to become a follower of Christ. That’s why you have to be very careful because when doing this can be hard for some that want to be a follower of Christ think about the position they are in as well as give the message you want to give.

    1. The whole point of this article and this website is to help bring people closer to God and to let them know that God is here for them. This is for anyone in any position in their life. The truth is what God wants us to know.

  2. I agree with you, my friend. While we’re still alive and able to make decisions, it’s still not too late.

Accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is the wisest decision that any of us can make. It changes our prenset life and it give us firm hope for eternity. And God has designed His offer in a way that even a child can understand it and accept it. Although it’s the wisest decision, you don’t have to be considered a genius to decide to accept what God offers (Salvation through His Son’s blood shed for our sins).

    1. Amen, people just need to know that He is here for them and they don’t need to feel like they are forgotten or that this is it for them. God is good and if you seek Him out you will find a new beginning.
